One Room Challenge | Shop The Mine & More

It’s the bonus week of the One Room Challenge!  Our host Linda has rescheduled the official reveal until next week, November 15.  I just can’t wait to see my fellow ORCers’ rooms!

This has been a fun experience for me!  All the hard work has now resulted in a colorful finished basement for my family and me.  Definitely a major perk of the project has been working with all the generous One Room Sponsors. I want to take this bonus week to show you some of my favorite items from a few sponsors.

Have you poked around The Mine?  You literally could furnish a whole house from their website.  Furniture, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and even appliances–it’s all there.  I had so much fun selecting items for the basement from their inventory.  Here are some of my favorites I noted while looking around:

I love color.  I love yellow.  When you want some sunshine in your living room, this sofa:

Or, this tufted sofa with buttons:

Alongside the sofa I would put this little  table:

I love channeled upholstery, so this channeled bench is perfect!

This sideboard with Carrera marble on top can swing modern and traditional.  And if you want, you can customize with your own knobs:This waffle tufted chair looks like a marshmallow cloud:The Arch lounge chair features my favorite look of the moment on chairs, when the frame and upholstery are the same color.  This is a different color way of the same chair we ordered for the basement:This chair is again that tone-on-tone look I’m after.  It is especially arresting and intentional-looking in red:Where can’t you put this milking stool?  It goes everywhere or use it as a plant stand:Another piece that can be a table or stool, this stainless steel bench:
More tone-on-tone on this dining chair, it just wouldn’t be the same with chrome legs:
This chair is a textural take on a modern shape:I like the warmth of the wood and the grid lines of this dining chair:
Yellow legs, yellow body, I love this dining chair:I’ve been loving oval tables lately, so a classic oval tulip table is perfect:

Round is good, too, in this walnut table, reminds me of our dining room table:

Just like TV, the more channels, the better, this bed:Tight space, this daybed:I love a modern canopy bed, a step up from my canopy bed from the Sears catalog circa 1983:Another fab sponsor is Article.  I ordered a few pieces for our basement and I’m so impressed with their quality and swiftness of delivery.  Their website lets you know what is in stock so you don’t even have to be patient.  Here are some of my other favorites:

If you like colored sofas, why not chili-pepper hotness in the Sven sofa:While I do love a bold sofa, white is such a classic…I’ve purchased five white sofas in my day!  The Sitka sofa looks comfy:Sexy black leather in the Alcott sofa:Another black silhouette Embrace chair:The playful Gira floor lamp:
Arianna Belle is another ORC sponsor with lovely designer pillow covers.  My custom order arrived promptly and beautifully packaged.  Don’t you love opening a box with layers of tissue and tied in a ribbon?  Here are some of my favorite pillow patterns:

The Baudard pillow satisfies my floral addiction:I ordered and love two of these Golden Yellow velvet pillows:A classic geometric in the Hexagon pillow:Kubus Argent pillow:Flame velvet pillow:Painted Check pillow:

I can’t wait to show you next week how three pendants from Crystorama changed the mood of a boring hallway.  They are another generous ORC sponsor, and here are my favorites:

A classic black and white stripe in the Grayson pendant:

I like the lines and 3-D box effect of the Capri chandelier:Finally, the Zodiac chandelier is pretty in ivory:

Thank you so much to the sponsors for playing along the One Room Challenge.  Here is the complete list of companies:
